"I finally got my butt in there for a crop night. For the uninitiated, a crop night is an organized "work party" where scrapbookers can come and use the space (and sometimes tools) provided and scrap the night away, and even shop for the items you need (usually at a discount!).
Unlike most area scrapbook stores, Scrapbook Pad has a crop night every Friday and Saturday night (versus only certain nights each month). And based on my experience this weekend, it is regularly attended by a group of fun and welcoming women who are equal parts oddball, den mother, and crafter.
PROVIDED: a FULL 6 foot table to yourself (other local joints usually make you share), free wi-fi, electricity access at each table, fridge and wet bar if you bring your own dinner or snacks, cricut machine to use!
OTHER PERKS: You can come early if you want (they usually run 5 pm to midnight), there are great Korean and Thai restaurants next door for din din
I'll be back every Friday or Saturday night that I can spare!”
