The Store is owned and operated by Marcia McNulty and Shawna Burnett (Mother and Daughter).
Marcia has been scrapbooking for about 12 years. She retired from a job with King County after 26 years of service. This is the first time she has owned a store, but after being retired for 5 years decided to take on a new venture.
Marcia and her husband Pat have lived in Lake Forest Park for the past 40 years and have two daughters, Shawna Burnett and Tina Oestreich. They also have two grandchildren from each daughter, two boys and two girls.
Her husband Pat is the business end of the store and has made sure all the necessary things such as signs and computers are all installed and up and running. Also he and Shawna's husband Chris made sure the store was remodeled and painted so we have a pleasant store for our friends to shop in.
Shawna has also been scrapbooking for about 15 years. She is married to Chris and lives in Lake Stevens with her two children, Alexa who is 9 and Cameron who is 4. Shawna also delivers the Seattle Times during the early mornings, so doesn't get much sleep with two kids to care for and running a store.
Both husbands played a large part in getting the new store ready for business..
